Tuition and Fees
Policy Alignment Statement
This Tuition, Fees, and Refund & Withdrawal Policy is aligned with the Admissions Requirements of East Bay CNA Academy and complies with California Code of Regulations, Title 22, and California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP) standards.
Tuition & Fees
Total Program Tuition: $1,995.00
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program consists of 160 total hours, including 60 hours of theory instruction and 100 hours of supervised clinical training.
Tuition includes classroom instruction, skills lab training, supervised clinical coordination, instructor supervision, evaluation, and a certificate of completion upon successful program completion.
Registration Fee
Registration Fee: $250.00 (Non-Refundable)
The registration fee is due at enrollment, secures the student’s seat, is applied toward total tuition, and represents administrative costs incurred prior to instruction.
Tuition Balance & Payment
After payment of the registration fee, the remaining tuition balance is $1,745.00. Tuition must be paid in full or pursuant to an approved payment plan prior to completion of clinical training. Failure to remain current may result in dismissal.
Additional Student Costs (Not Included)
Students are responsible for costs not included in tuition, such as Live Scan/background checks, TB testing, immunizations, uniforms, and state certification examination fees.
Refund and Withdrawal Policy
The registration fee is non-refundable. A student may withdraw by submitting written notice. Refunds are calculated based on the last date of attendance and percentage of program hours completed.
Refund Schedule
Prior to first day of instruction: Tuition paid minus registration fee.
After start and before completion of 25% of program hours: Pro-rated refund minus registration fee.
After completion of 25% or more of program hours: No refund.
Dismissal
Students may be dismissed for excessive absences, failure to meet academic or clinical requirements, violation of policies, or non-payment of tuition. Dismissed students follow the same refund policy.
No Refund Circumstances
No refunds are issued for failure to complete the program, failure to meet clinical eligibility, failure to pass exams, or withdrawal after 25% of program hours.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 30 calendar days to the original form of payment when possible.
Policy Acknowledgment
Enrollment constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this policy.
